Saas company for the intelligent management of sustainability in the apparel and footwear sector. BCOME empowers the textile and apparel businesses to build responsible supply chains, guarantee transparency and bring it to the final customer.  Founded in 2019, we are pioneers in the application of intelligent methodologies for global sustainability management and have more than 1 million traced, measured and evaluated products on the market.

What you will do

You will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success. These are some of the responsibilities  that you will carry out in your day to day:

• Design the overall functionality of the product and ensure a great user experience.
• Conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys to deliver an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps and design graphic user interface elements.
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Optimize existing user interface designs, identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems and conduct layout adjustments.
• Communicate with  CS team to understand clients goals and objectives

In 1 month … You will have completed your onboarding, which will include working side by side with the Product and IT team from the word go, so that you understand the product challenges involved. 

In 3 months … You will have become familiar with our industry-specific in-house jargon and you will master the BCOME product roadmap from beginning to end, but not only that – you will also have contributed to it. The first functionalities you have designed from scratch will already be in production.

In 6 months … By now, you will really have gotten into your stride, working on functionalities at increasingly higher levels. You will contribute to company and product strategy at a high-level.

Requirements

• Three or more years of UI/UX  design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for Saas platforms. 
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of Saas design.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools and expertise in standard  UI/UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin and Invision.
• Ability to work with other departments to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Ability to synthesise abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

Extra points:

• Whichever experience with software technology beyond web frontend technologies is a plus
• Experience in team management and product management is a plus
• Highly appreciated experience in  HTML/CSS/JS

We offer a very flexible working day. We only ask that you be available from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Spanish peninsular time. Beyond that, our team distributes their hours throughout the day.
