What is the difference between inventory indicator and impact indicator?

The Life Cycle Indicators of BCome methodology include both inventory and impact indicators (Table 01). Inventory indicators are direct consumptions and emissions within the product life cycle, while impact indicators group different consumptions and emissions into one effect on the environment, corresponding to a specific impact area affecting ecosystem quality, resource use, or human health (Figure 01).
