We start the journey with BCome by collecting inventory data about the articles, materials, suppliers, corporate and retail packaging that we will use to provide data for the evaluations. Depending on the products that have been contracted. The form, specific for each project, will show the essential information that will be needed to have all the information to start the data.
Type of information required
The traceability form is considered to unlock the insights you need about your supply chain and scale up your traceability performance. Product traceability empowers you to take control and build a resilient supply chain by knowing where to focus your efforts. The easiest way to gain a global perspective of your supply chain for better decision-making.
What information needs to be filled in each case?
For a better understanding of the form and a better ease when filling in the cells, we advise you to follow the instructions provided and to understand the use of colors in each tab.
- Step 1: Article to complete information about the items, their weights, their functionality, etc.
- Step 2: Material to complete information about the material, its composition, country of extraction, etc.
- Step 3: Supply to complete information about the suppliers, to which tier they apply, which transports they have, etc.
- Step 4: Corporate to complete information about the good practices practiced by the company.
If you want to know what minimum information you have to fill in…
- And you are a brand go to Introduction to the Product Form
The name of the articles, materials, and suppliers must always be marked based on the Proper Name condition, meaning the first letter is capitalized and the rest in lowercase (eg: Brown t-shirt). In the event data is unknown or does not exist, it must be indicated:
- —: when the data does not exist (for composition and materials only),
- Not applicable: when the data does not exist (in all other cases),
- Unknown: when it exists but impossible to identify.
How to interpret the color legend
We use some color guides to make it more intuitive and easier to fill in and thus, capture inconsistencies more easily. It detects more easily what happens next.
