What are the certifications and standards validated by the Eco-Score?

BCome-approved certificates

BCome approves and includes the following systems of certifications, accreditations, and standards as a guarantee of validation:

  • Validated certifications related to the raw materials: Adita Birla, BCI, C2C, CMIA, Fairtrade Agriculture, FSC, GOTS, GRS, Lenzing, LWG Bronze, LWG Gold, LWG Silver, OCS, PEFC, RCS, RDS, Refibra (Lenzing), RWS, SFI, USDA. 
  • Validated certifications related to wet processing and finishing: BLUESIGN, Ecolabel, Made in Green by OEKO-TEX, STeP by OEKO-TEX.
  • Environmental management systems: ISO 14001, ISO 50001. 
  • Certifications related to labor conditions and health: BSCI, SA8000, SMETA, WRAP, Fairtrade Textile.
  • Health and safety management systems: ISO 45001.
  • Other initiatives: Fairtrade.
