What information should I declare to perform a proper SLCA?
Even if a certain amount of data can be assumed, there is a minimum rate of information required to perform an SLCA. All the information used to make an SLCA is defined as mandatory data. Only a part of the mandatory data can be substituted by an assumption from BCome methodology. Each analysis has a max assumption rate based on the data for which a standardized assumption is available. To sum up, the type of required data is divided between:
- Mandatory (M): Mandatory data to be filled in to be able to make the calculation.
- Mandatory, assumption allowed (M-A): Mandatory data to be filled on which an assumption can be made according to BCome methodology.
