In which format should I register my article pictures?

Introductions on how to correctly declare product images on the platform

In order to avoid possible errors, the images of the articles are collected in URL format so that they can be correctly integrated and displayed on the platform.

  1. Project images
  2. User Profile

Where do I find the URL of the article?

A) The quickest way to generate URLs is to check your e-Commerce’s URL generator (Shopify,
Woocommerce, etc.)

B) If you don’t have an e-Commerce yet, or if it is not active, you can generate them through free
platforms like www.cloudinary.com.

If you decide to use Cloudinary, you can follow these steps:

1. Convert your images in .jpg (in case they are in other formats).
2. Create an account in Cloudinary.
3. Go to the top menu section named ‘Media Library‘ and create a folder.
4. Upload the images of the articles that you want to trace.
5. Copy the URL generated by Cloudinary and add it in the traceability excel, in the row of the corresponding article.

What if I don’t have the images yet?

Don’t worry, we will display your brand’s logo until the pictures are available.

What else should I take into account?

Please always check that the images match the right references. This is very important for
integrating the images in the platform then correctly generating your products’ QR codes.

Some tips to keep in mind:

  • Resolution: We recommend a good resolution, around 300 px, to avoid pixelation problems.
  • Aspect: Portrait as well as landscape as they fit centrally to the size of the layout.
  • Archive format: jpg image format.

User Profile

To upload the user profile we will follow the same instructions as the previous images, but in this case we will need the logo to be framed in a square format. In this case, it will help us to fit perfectly in the avatar of the platform.

To keep in mind:

  1. Frame the logo in square format.
  2. Convert to .jpg
  3. Upload image to cloudinary.
