We’re honoured to be part of the selected innovative startups from across the region, including Agcurate, Earth Blox or Single.Earth, all of whom are working to tackle climate change with tech.

Climate change is one of humanity’s most urgent challenges and fashion is crucial in setting the world on a path to a more sustainable future. As a startup working on innovative technologies for adaptation and climate solutions, at BCome we have an important role to play in accelerating climate action. Research supported by Google and conducted by Implement Consulting shows that digital technologies, like our Global Sustainability Management Platform for fashion businesses, are critical to facilitating energy and emissions savings.

At Google, they want to foster a thriving ecosystem of startups focused on advancing sustainability via AI-powered technology and connect them with the right mentorship opportunities, technical expertise, and cloud technology. Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change is a 10-week program for high-tech startups tackling climate change with innovative solutions. In partnership with Google Cloud, the European program helps high-potential startups based in Europe & Israel grow with the best of Google through a mix of in-person and virtual activities, mentoring, and group learning sessions.
The program, which will start with a bootcamp in Munich, features deep dives and workshops focused on product design, business growth, and leadership development, in addition to mentorship and technical project support. BCome is excited to participate in this second program after taking part in the Google for Startups Growth Academy: Sustainability in Spain, and looks forward to continuing to work with Google and the rest of the startups to make a positive impact on the climate change issue. We’re confident that this experience will help us accelerate our mission of creating a sustainable future by reducing the environmental impact of the fashion industry.
